My blog is now hosted on WordPress because I was too lazy to find and implement a php spamtrap for my hand-coded blog. Stay tuned as old posts get migrated to this new location; in the meantime, offer me a job writing php and I will go back to engaging it at a level that would make doing things like looking for spamtraps worthwhile. Not that this web-development thing isn’t an end in itself–it is, but the older I get the more quickly time rushes by and the more picky I have to be about where and how I spend my time and energy.

On the other hand, if you read my LiveJournal then you might know that I have recently found a method for creating more time and energy for myself. Unfortunately it entails being up in the middle of the night most nights, which limits my day job opportunities to those I can actually do while the rest of the company sleeps. But life is unpredictable and I have some things up my sleeve so I suspect this will all work out in the end.

Either that or life as we know it is about to come to an end. Either way, there’s not much sense in worrying for oneself overly much.

So, uh, here’s the blog. There’s not much more to say about it, really.
